How to get rid of acne + scarring for acne prone skin !

Acne is a common problem rather you get it in just a few blemishes or severly. For those of use with acne prone skin, things are even worse. Acne prone skin breaks out very easily and it can be hard to find products that will both help cure the acne and  not cause more irritation.

Before I get into the routine let's start with some basics. If your skin begins to break out you'll need to quit use. If you switch to my products introduce them one at a time to your skin or it will cause irritation. Start with the cleanser, wait 3-5 days if you have no problems add the treatments, wait a week, add the moisturizer. Don't add them all at once because your skin won't react correctly. Also, use sunscreen. You might need to adjust your make up products if you wear them. And drinking a lot of water will help your skin out also.

Alright, the basic steps of a skin care routine are cleansing, toning, moisturizing and treating. I skip toning because it's unnecessary. If for any reason your convinced you NEED a toner feel free to add one to the routine. My routine uses three acne fighting ingredients, these products ALL work well together so it will help your acne to clear up quickly. However my routine is not permenate, though it will help get rid of things you'll need to keep at my routine. You can drop things as you go along or use less of the products, but if you quit use entirely your acne will return.

CLEANSING:

I use two cleansers, one for morning one for night.
You'll need one that's medicated and one thats not.

Let's start with the medicated cleanser. This means it will help treat acne or has acne medications in it. There are a ton of options, but let's go with one that has a staylic acid treatment. In my routine I combine three acne fighting ingredients in a way that will help your skin, so it's important that whatever cleanser you use  has staylic acid!
Though I'm still playing around with medicated cleansers, right now I'm using LOREAL's 360 clean, in the green container.
I use this NIGHTLY. Typically in the shower.

Now for my morning cleanser, or the un medicated cleanser. After experimenting I've noticed that acne fighting cleansers tend to cause break outs when you use them in the morning because the ingredients don't react well to the sun. So I choose to wash my face in the mornings. You can use a non medicated cleanser, gentle cleansing wipes, or just wash your face in water.
Since I have a naturally terrible red face I choose take fix this in the mornings. I use  a cleanser called EUCERINE. They make a redness relief cleanser that works great for me.
You can use any one, but eucerine and cetaphil are probably the best options.

TREATING MY BLEMISHES:
So the obvious thing to do is get a spot treatment, those don't always work. I DO use one but it's not the only thing I use. I use hydrogen peroxide as well.

To treat with hydrogen peroxide, you simply dab a cotton swab into the peroxide and dab it directly onto your blemish. Do NOT get it around it or it will bleach your skin. Also don't use too much. You'll feel a burning sensation but your blemish will be healed within a few days, sometimes a few hours depending on the size. This is safe for popped pimples as well! it'll burn more but it heals then fast and prevents scarring. Do this whenever you have an active pimple, don't use it once it's down to a scar.

After applying the hydrogen peroxide, you'll want to do something to help the areas around it. I use a 10% benzyl peroxide treatment. You can buy the generic ones for about $3. Apply this to your scars as well, it'll fade them and eventually make them go away.

Use these NIGHTLY! Do NOT use either in the mornings.
Do this and you blemishes will be gone before you know it.

MOISTURIZING:

Let's face the fact, my routine is drying for your skin. You'll need a GOOD moisturizer.
Try not to get one meant for treating acne/pores/blackheads/anything. It needs to be un medicated and natura; or organic ones will work best!
I switch between two depending on my skin. If my skin is average feeling or normal I use Noah's naturals Age defying moisturizer with SPF 15. (IT's always a plus to have SPF ! ) and if my skin is feeling dry I switch to a more moisturizing one, which is NIVEA's face/body/hands moisturizer.
Both brands work great and don't cause break outs on my face. You can use these or your own. If you have dry or combination skin I would recommend using the nivea moisturizer since it's stronger.
Only moisturizer IN THE MORNINGS because the acne treatment is less effective when you apply a moisturizer as well. If you have dry skin you can make the exception, just remember that it'll take longer.

This routine cleared my skin within a week. Not to mention it's really affordable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Eucerine redness relief / HOW TO GET RID OF REDNESS IN YOUR FACE.

About a month ago while picking out a new skin routine and looking at my options, I came across a cleanser by eucerine, it was for redness relief. I've tried several products that are supposed to help redness, but NONE of them work! So I as hesitant to buy this product.  Of course I ended up buying it.  I  bought the Sensitive skin solution in hopes it wouldn't break out my skin.

now I also have VERY acne prone skin and oily skin, the majority of product I try break my skin out. This product didn't. This cleanser is very gentle and isn't for acne treatment/medicated so it wont mess up your skin routine if you also have acne problems. At first it wont seem to work at all, actually my skin seemed worse at first. After my skin had dried my face was noticeably less red. After about a week of treatment I have no visible redness in my skin. However it's not a permenate change. I've been using this product for a month, I've noticed that if I skip a day or so my face will get a little red again.

Overall rating:
5 out of 5 stars.
I love this product and would recommend it to ANYONE who suffers from redness in they're skin!

How I use it:
I use this product as a MORNING cleanser. Since the acne products I use arn't good for day use I've found morning to be a good time to use it.
I simply wet my face (It CAN be used dry.) apply a little to my hands and rub it all over my face. I massage it on my face for about 30 seconds and rinse it off. I fallow up with a moisturizer ( I use noah's naturals with SPF 15.)

Where to buy:
I bought mine at walgreen's for about $8.
The price varies depending on what you use, this also comes in oter forms. I've only tried the cleanser so I'm not sure about the other products yet.

Pro's:
- Will get rid of all redness in your skin.
- GENTLE on your skin.
- Good for acne prone or sensitive skin.
- Isn't medicated so it's fine to use with acne treatments, won't add to many chemicals to irritate them.
- Removes all traces of make up if you use it as a night cleanser.
- Safe for morning or night use.
- Affordable.

Con's:
- It's a gel cleanser, which I'm not a fan of. I prefer cream and foam cleanser.
- A little hard to find. I ordered online.
- Can cause a little dryness to skin. Fallow up with moisturizer.
- Results arn't permeable. Require's daily use.

Product Uses:
Removes dirt and oil and fights acne.

Where to buy:
You can buy this at any local drug store, I got mine from walgreens. These can also be purchased from clean and clear's website. Average cost is about $6.

My review:

I bought this product along with clean and clear's persa 10 treatment. I'm a fan of clean and clear and would recommend to almost anyone to at least give them a try but this product, didn't work for me.  I've found that it DID do its main purpose;  fight acne. however with the problems I've had with it it's just not worth it in the end. The persa 10 is a completely different story however so I'll be writing a review on that as well. For now I'll start with this cleanser though.

The reason I use cleansers is to help fight acne.Benzoyle peroxide works amazing when it comes to doing that so I figured why not try this. My biggest problem with this cleanser is that is dries out my skin incredibly. If you use this product DO NOT attempt to use it without a moisturizer. I didn't juse one and my skin at first was jsut flakey, but in the end it had become red, irritated and even wrinkled/cracked in some places. I quit use of this and ocntinued use of the persa 10 thinking it was jsut because of the fact I used them together. Later on I decieded to try this cleanser again, without the persa 10 and my skin had once again became dry. This cleanser is VERY drying, thought it does do a GREAT job at getting rid of acne.

Another thing is the feeling you get after using it. At first it feel refreshing and clean but it starts to sting and hurt after a while. It's a unpleasent feeling and in the end I didn't think it was worth th.e stinging and dryness to get rid of my acne so I stuck with the persa 10 and dropped this one.

If you have dry or combination skin I would never recommend this product. If you have oily skin and think it might be worth a try then I'm not going to say don't. This product DOES do what it's supposed to, but it's unpleasant while doing so.

Skin 79 BB cream review.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
Where to buy: Ebay or amazon.
Price: $5-15.

So let's start with the basics. BB cream is a foundation, moisturizer and skin treatment all in one. Certain ones have special things in them for other problems such as oil control, wrinkle control, SPF and whitening effects. Personally, this is my FAVORITE bb cream.
Skin whitening
Some people are concerned that this will lighten they're skin tone. IT makes your skin tone more vibrant and brighter but it does NOT lighten the skin tone.  After a few uses I noticed my skin had a nice glowing effect to it and seemed to be much brighter.

UV protection
Personally, I dont think this actually works. I've noticed that my skin still gets sun damage, even when this is applied. I normally use other products with SPF in them or a sunscreen to help prevent this.

Anti- Wrinkle
Since I'm only 16 I can't really tell you if this works. SORRY!

Coverage
This bb cream has a light to medium SHEER coverage. I've found that it covered the majority of my blemishes but sometimes doesnt cover them all. Though you can build the BB cream for a heavier coverage it wont cover MAJOR blemishes.

Oil Control
Personally, I dont think this feature works as well as it should. I've found that when I use a oil controlling powder with my bb cream it stays matte and I dont get oily throughout the day however when I use just a normal powder it doesn't do this. I think that if you have combination skin this will work perfect for you but if your like me and have oily skin you'll need some extra help for oil control.

moisturizer
I used to skip my moistuzer and use this, it worked fine until I had a very drying skin routine. So if you have combination to oily skin you could use this instead of a moisturizer. However dry skin types will need extra help.

Over all , I love this product and its amazing for an $8 product. Its worth the investment.
